• Will we ever go to Mars?

It looks like have given up on going to the moon, let alone Mars. I guess it will take steps. First, the moon. Then maybe someday, Mars. I am not sure why we would want to go to either unless it was to control over population or for mineral mining.

I know this makes me sad. Truth is we should have established a moon base and started farming raw materials. I mean, how else are we supposed to build a star ship? Seriously, we can't so interstellar travel launching from Earth, so it makes sense. The space station is a bit of a snooze as well, I thought we would see more progress. I hate to say it but NASA prob wont be leading the way here but industialist billionaires who are already making some leadways in areospace technology... stay tuned as they say.

As for Mars, it's been a dream of mine since watching the movie Total Recall, the thought of a space colony, vacations etc all on another planet under a dome somehow speaks to me. I told my friends and family if they ever look for volunteers.. or rather pioneers to help colonize Mars-- I'm there :)
